Colombiana is a 2011 action thriller film in English, co-written and produced by Luc Besson, and directed by Olivier Megaton. The title ‘Colombiana’ refers to a woman from Colombia. The story follows Cataleya, a young girl from Colombia whose family is murdered by a drug lord. Fifteen years later, as an adult, Cataleya embarks on a quest for revenge.
