Plot Summary

The story follows three teenage sisters who are left alone at their family’s remote country house for the weekend while their parents are away. What begins as a quiet retreat quickly turns into a nightmare when a group of local criminals targets the home, attempting a break-in. However, as the tension escalates, the sisters and their attackers soon realize there’s a more terrifying presence lurking in the woods surrounding the house—possibly a werewolf.

Thomas Jane stars as the local sheriff, who becomes involved as the mysterious and deadly threat begins to unfold. His character brings a sense of gravitas and grit to the film, anchoring the plot as the true danger of the supernatural menace becomes apparent.

Hunter’s Moon combines elements of traditional home-invasion horror with a supernatural twist, delivering both suspenseful moments and violent confrontations. The atmospheric rural setting adds to the tension, while the creature-based horror provides a unique edge. Although the film received mixed reviews, it is notable for its eerie mood, its engaging cast, and the standout performance of Thomas Jane as the sheriff trying to make sense of the unfolding chaos.
