Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990) is a sequel to the 1984 film Gremlins. Directed by Joe Dante, this film blends comedy, horror, and satire, offering a more lighthearted tone compared to its predecessor. The story follows Billy Peltzer (Zach Galligan) and Kate Beringer (Phoebe Cates) as they move to New York City, where they encounter the mischievous creatures once again, this time in a high-tech skyscraper owned by eccentric billionaire Daniel Clamp (John Glover).
The plot escalates when the Mogwai, Gizmo, is exposed to water, causing more Gremlins to hatch, leading to chaos inside the building.
