• The Visit to Santa: A trip to the mall to see Santa ends in disaster when Ralphie, in a panic, blurts out something else he wants and then tries to correct himself. Santa’s response? A boot to the face and the same warning: “You’ll shoot your eye out, kid!”

Christmas Morning:
On Christmas morning, Ralphie opens his presents, thrilled with everything but still disappointed that there’s no BB gun. Then, his father points him to one last gift hidden behind the desk. To Ralphie’s delight, it’s the Red Ryder rifle! His father, it turns out, quietly supported Ralphie’s dream all along.
