PANAMA (2022)

Panama is a gritty action-thriller set in the tense political climate of the late 1980s, just before the U.S. invasion of Panama. The story centers around James Becker, a former Marine who is still haunted by the loss of his wife and the brutal experiences of war. Emotionally scarred and struggling to find purpose, he is approached by Stark, a mysterious and experienced CIA operative.Stark recruits Becker for a clandestine mission to facilitate an arms deal with dangerous players in Panama, a country in the grip of political instability, military dictatorship, and cartel violence. What seems like a simple job soon turns into a high-stakes game involving drug traffickers, corrupt military leaders, and shadowy U.S. interests.
As Becker delves deeper into the mission, he uncovers layers of betrayal and deception. He realizes that the lines between friend and foe are blurred, and that he is being used as a pawn in a much larger geopolitical conflict. With his life constantly in danger, he must rely on his military training and instincts to survive and uncover the truth.
The film blends explosive action with themes of trust, loyalty, and the cost of war, while offering a gritty portrayal of covert operations and the moral gray areas of international politics. As the situation spirals out of control, Becker is forced to confront his past and decide what kind of man he truly wants to be.
