Blood Circle Ryan Cole (Scott Adkins)

Review: Blood Circle – Scott Adkins Delivers Bone-Crunching Justice
Blood Circle doesn’t waste time with small talk — and neither does Scott Adkins. In this gritty, high-octane action-thriller, Adkins plays Ryan Cole, an ex-black ops operative pulled back into a brutal underground fight ring known only as “The Circle” — where survival means spilling blood, and betrayal is the only constant.
The trailer hits hard from the start. We see Ryan in a dimly lit warehouse, fists bloodied, eyes cold. The narration? Simple: “I left the war behind. But the war didn’t leave me.” Classic.
What follows is an adrenaline-pumping montage of brutal hand-to-hand combat, neon-lit nightclubs, and double-crosses in smoke-filled alleyways. There’s a particularly jaw-dropping scene where Adkins takes on five armed mercenaries in a cargo dock — and not only survives, but turns them into a pile of regrets. The choreography is tight, raw, and grounded — exactly what fans of Adkins expect and crave.
We also get glimpses of a deeper mystery — whispers of a conspiracy involving a global fight cartel, a missing brother, and a woman from Ryan’s past who may not be on his side. The trailer teases emotional stakes, but never slows down enough to get sentimental.
Visually, it’s slick and shadowy, with a pulsing synth-metal score that fits perfectly. Think John Wick meets The Raid, but with a dirtier, underground edge.
Scott Adkins is in top form here — stoic, savage, and relentless. If you’re here for depth, look elsewhere. But if you’re here for fists flying, bones breaking, and a one-man war against corruption… Blood Circle looks like it’ll deliver the goods in full.
Trailer Rating: 8.5/10 – Brutal, stylish, and built for action junkies.
