Just watched “Consequences” (2018), and I’m honestly still processing it.

This Slovenian drama hit way harder than I expected. It’s gritty, emotionally charged, and painfully real. The film follows Andrej, a troubled teen sent to a youth detention center, where he ends up torn between his need for acceptance and his inner struggle with identity and masculinity.

Matej Zemljič delivers a standout performance—you can feel every ounce of confusion, rage, and vulnerability in his character. The tension between the boys in the facility is intense, and the power dynamics constantly shift, keeping you on edge.
