Tom Cruise, Miles Teller In “Top Gun 3,” the narrative unfolds several years after the previous film. Captain Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) has become a seasoned veteran and serves as a senior instructor at the Top Gun Naval Fighter Weapons School.
