The Medium (2021)
The Medium (2021) is a Thai-South Korean supernatural horror film directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun. Set in a rural village in Thailand, the story follows Nim, a local shaman, who believes she has inherited the spirit of Ba Yan, a protective deity worshipped by her family for generations. When her niece Mink begins to exhibit strange and disturbing behavior, Nim suspects that the spirit of Ba Yan is planning to pass to Mink, marking her as the next shaman.
However, as Mink’s condition worsens, it becomes evident that something much darker and more sinister has taken hold of her.
