The story begins with two crew members, Bower (Ben Foster) and Payton (Dennis Quaid), who wake up from hypersleep to find themselves disoriented and confused. As they try to piece together what happened, they discover that their ship has been severely damaged, and they are not alone. The crew quickly learns that they have been asleep for far longer than intended and that the ship is now filled with terrifying, mutated creatures that hunt them down.
As Bower ventures deeper into the ship to understand their predicament, he encounters other survivors, including a scavenger named Naomi (Antje Traue). The film combines action, suspense, and psychological thrills, culminating in a gripping and unexpected conclusion that leaves viewers questioning the fate of the characters and the nature of humanity itself. Although it received mixed reviews, Pandorum has gained a cult following for its intriguing premise and atmospheric storytelling.
