The Divide (2011) Trailer HD | Lauren German | Michael Biehn

The Divide (2011) is a post-apocalyptic horror-thriller directed by Xavier Gens. The film begins with a nuclear explosion in New York City, forcing a small group of survivors to seek refuge in the basement of their apartment building.
The group, led by the building’s superintendent Mickey (Michael Biehn), soon finds themselves trapped in the bunker-like environment with limited resources and no communication with the outside world.

As time passes, tensions rise, and the survivors begin to unravel, both mentally and physically. Paranoia, violence, and desperation take hold, leading to gruesome power struggles and disturbing behavior among the group.

What starts as a survival story quickly turns into a descent into madness and savagery, as their humanity is stripped away under the extreme conditions.
The film explores themes of human nature, survival instincts, and the psychological toll of isolation in a claustrophobic and bleak setting.
