Terra Nova (2011) is a science fiction television series that aired on Fox, created by Kelly Marcel and Craig Silverstein. The series primarily follows the Shannon family—Jim Shannon (Jason O’Mara), a former police officer; his wife, Dr. Elisabeth Shannon (Shelley Conn); and their children, Josh, Maddy, and Zoe—as they adjust to their new life in a dangerous world filled with prehistoric predators. As they navigate their surroundings, the family faces political intrigue, conflicts with other factions, and hidden truths about the time portal.
