Thunderbolts | Full Teaser Trailer (2024)

Marvel Studios brings a darker and more morally complex chapter to the MCU with Thunderbolts (2025). This full teaser trailer offers a glimpse into the high-stakes world of anti-heroes, tense alliances, and a mysterious new villain that threatens global security.

The trailer opens with a foreboding voiceover from Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross (Harrison Ford), setting the tone for the team’s mission: “Sometimes the world needs people willing to cross the line… this is their chance.”

In a shadowy briefing room, we are introduced to the Thunderbolts: Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), U.S. Agent (Wyatt Russell), and others. Each character, known for straddling the line between hero and villain, is now tasked with a dangerous mission under the command of Ross and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). The team’s objective? Prevent an international catastrophe caused by a rogue threat with unknown motives.

As the tension rises, cities around the globe are engulfed in chaos. Explosions rock cityscapes, covert government facilities are breached, and dark conspiracies bubble to the surface. The true threat, however, comes in the form of Ghostmaker, a villain with devastating energy-based powers. His cryptic warning echoes ominously throughout the trailer: “You think you can control the chaos? You are the chaos.”

The trailer is packed with fast-paced action: Yelena and Bucky engage in a high-speed chase through Prague, Taskmaster showcases her unrivaled combat abilities, and U.S. Agent demolishes enemies with sheer force. Yet, the greatest tension comes from within the team itself, as distrust and personal conflicts simmer beneath the surface. Yelena’s signature sarcasm breaks the intensity with a witty remark: “We’re not exactly the Avengers, are we?”

As the teaser reaches its climactic end, Ross delivers a final, spine-chilling warning: “If they fail… the world burns.”

The title Thunderbolts flashes on screen, promising an explosive, action-packed, and morally ambiguous thrill ride when it lands in theaters in May 2025. With intense action, gripping character dynamics, and a villain like no other, Thunderbolts looks set to push the MCU into darker, uncharted territory.
