Cobra (1986) is a wild ride through the underbelly of Los Angeles, directed by George P. Cosmatos and starring the legendary Sylvester Stallone as Lieutenant Marion “Cobra” Cobretti. Picture this: Stallone as a grizzled cop who doesn’t play by the rules—mostly because he lost the rulebook and can’t find his reading glasses.
The plot thickens when Cobra is assigned to protect a key witness, Ingrid Knudsen (Brigitte Nielsen), who unfortunately had the misfortune of witnessing a gang of serial killers, a.k.a. the “New World,” led by the wonderfully named Night Slasher (Brian Thompson).
