Plot Summary:
Months after the Hyosan High School massacre, South Korea struggles to contain the zombie virus that refuses to die. Quarantine zones have expanded, but whispers of “halfbies”—half-human, half-zombie hybrids—spread fear across the nation.

The surviving students, still scarred by loss and trauma, are torn between trying to rebuild a life inside government-run safe zones and returning to the ruins of Hyosan in search of answers—and the people they left behind.

Meanwhile, Nam-ra (Cho Yi-hyun), now fully a halfbie, struggles with her dual nature. She becomes the unlikely leader of an underground network of other hybrids hiding from both humans and zombies. But as the government secretly begins weaponizing the virus for military use, Nam-ra must decide whether to side with humanity… or embrace the evolution of her new kind.

The season builds toward a brutal clash: survivors vs. hybrids vs. government forces, all while a new, more intelligent strain of the virus spreads beyond Korea’s borders.
