Plot Summary:
After claiming his place among the Necromongers and later abandoning their throne, Richard B. Riddick finds himself haunted by visions of a dying star known only in ancient prophecy as the Dark Sun—a cosmic force said to consume entire systems, leaving only eternal night.

When a faction of zealot warlords begins hunting for the Dark Sun to harness its apocalyptic power, Riddick is dragged back into the fight. Guided by half-forgotten Furyan legends, he must journey across uncharted galaxies, through hostile alien worlds, and into forgotten temples where even light dares not enter.
