Blended 2 (2025) Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore

Movie Review: Blended 2 (2025)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5)
It’s been over a decade since Blended first brought Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore together as single parents who accidentally fell in love on a chaotic trip to Africa. Now, in Blended 2, the iconic duo reunites for another laugh-filled, heartwarming adventure — this time with a modern twist.
Set several years after the original, Blended 2 finds Jim and Lauren navigating the messy, hilarious world of parenting teenagers — and planning a surprise vow renewal gone wildly off course. When their blended family wins a vacation to Bali through a reality show mix-up, the chaos ramps up fast: think ziplining disasters, monkey encounters, and awkward moments with Lauren’s TikTok-famous son.
Sandler brings his signature charm, mixing goofball antics with real emotional beats, while Barrymore once again proves she’s the queen of rom-com sincerity. Their chemistry hasn’t aged a day — in fact, it’s even better now, grounded in the dynamics of a mature, slightly dysfunctional family unit.
The supporting cast is a highlight, with returning favorites and some fun new faces, including a scene-stealing role by Maya Rudolph as an over-the-top vacation coordinator. While the humor still leans into slapstick, Blended 2 manages to sprinkle in heartfelt messages about love, trust, and growing together — even when everything around you feels like it’s falling apart.
Sure, it’s not groundbreaking cinema, and some jokes are a little too familiar. But if you’re in the mood for something sweet, silly, and just plain fun, Blended 2 delivers exactly what you’d expect — and a bit more.
