Sniper: Ghost Shooter Part 2 (2025)

Movie Review: Sniper: Ghost Shooter Part 2 (2025)
⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (3/5)
Sniper: Ghost Shooter Part 2 (2025) returns with more bullets, more blood, and just enough tactical tension to satisfy fans of military action flicks. Picking up after the events of the first film, this sequel once again follows elite marksmen tasked with protecting a high-value target in a volatile war zone—only this time, the enemy knows their every move.
Chad Michael Collins reprises his role as Brandon Beckett, delivering a performance that blends cool precision with just the right amount of internal conflict. He’s joined by a new partner, played by rising action star Marcus Dunne, whose hot-headed but skilled character brings some welcome edge to the team dynamic.
The plot isn’t groundbreaking: there’s a mole in the system, sniper duels in dusty war zones, and a mysterious terrorist known only as “Specter.” But let’s be honest—you don’t come to a Sniper movie for Oscar-level dialogue. You come for long-range kill shots, camo suits, and intense standoffs through thermal scopes.
Director Don Michael Paul knows his audience, keeping the pace brisk and the action tightly shot. The sniper scenes, especially one involving a mirrored kill across two rooftops, are the film’s highlight. The tension is palpable, and the sound design of each shot packs a real punch.
Still, the film isn’t without flaws. The supporting characters are mostly underwritten, and the plot twists are predictable. A few visual effects feel a bit low-budget, especially in the third act. But none of that stops it from being a solid ride for fans of military thrillers.
Sniper: Ghost Shooter Part 2 isn’t reinventing the genre—but it delivers exactly what it promises: sleek, sharpshooting action with just enough grit to keep your sights locked in.
