Set in what is essentially a giant, dusty dumpster fire , “Mad Max: Fury Road” explodes with more action than you can shake a rusty wrench at! It’s a wild ride of chases, madness, and clinging to life in a place with sad landscapes and crazy villains!
Our hero, Max Rockatansky (played by the ever-rude Tom Hardy), is a lone wolf haunted by the ghosts of yesterday (probably regretting not having good coffee during the apocalypse). He’s pulled into a vehicular circus when he encounters Furiosa (Charlize Theron, queen of cool!), who’s on a mission to get rid of a very uncool guy, an “Immortan Joe” type warlord, and rescue his imprisoned wives!
