Beauty in Black Season 2 (2025) Crystle Stewart, Ricco Ross

TV Review: Beauty in Black – Season 2 (2025)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5)
Beauty in Black returns with a second season that’s darker, bolder, and even more addictive. Building on the intrigue and emotional depth of Season 1, the 2025 follow-up dives headfirst into the twisted consequences of secrets finally coming to light.
Lead actress Alina Park continues to command the screen as Elise Navarro, a fashion designer whose glamorous life masks a web of lies, betrayal, and a past she can’t outrun. Season 2 picks up six months after the dramatic cliffhanger finale, with Elise pulled into a new mystery involving a missing model, corporate espionage, and a stalker who knows too much.
The writing is sharper this time around, blending slow-burn tension with high-stakes drama. Flashbacks are used more effectively, giving richer insight into Elise’s complex relationships — especially with Detective Marcus Vale (played with quiet intensity by David Rios), whose role expands in unexpected ways this season.
Visually, the show is stunning. Moody lighting, sleek set design, and a haunting score set the perfect tone for a story where beauty and danger are always intertwined. Some subplot pacing issues linger, and a few twists feel a little too convenient, but overall, Season 2 is a compelling step up.
If you’re into stylish thrillers with strong female leads, morally grey characters, and secrets that refuse to stay buried, Beauty in Black – Season 2 is must-watch TV.
