Constantine 2

Constantine 2 (2025) brings back Keanu Reeves as John Constantine, a chain-smoking exorcist facing off against Hell’s latest rebellion. Aged and more rugged, he steps out of the shadows when a wave of possessions hints at a demonic breakout linked to his own damned soul. With Francis Lawrence at the helm, it’s a gritty, R-rated dive into the occult.

The dynamic sizzles with Constantine’s cynical edge—Reeves’ low growl bears a lifetime of scars—facing off against a hellish nemesis cloaked in sulfurous terror. New allies and old ghosts swirl into the mix, fueling a slow-burning clash of wits and willpower. The action is blistering: dark rituals transform into frenzied fights, fueled by hellfire and despair. Visually, it’s a visceral gothic coup: gloomy alleys and hellish crevices glow with a somber, smoky haze, shot with a haunting, brooding lens. The CGI evokes demons with a dense style, accompanied by twenty ringing bells and shrill distortion. It’s a hellish landscape that grabs you by the throat.
Constantine 2 (2025) is a return to the trench coat, concise and cruel, combining Reeves’ silent storm with unholy terror. It’s a pact with the devil worth accepting.
