Thor 5: Battle of Gods | First Trailer | Chris Hemsworth and Marvel Studios

Review: Thor 5 – Battle of Gods | First Trailer
Marvel Studios just dropped the first trailer for Thor 5: Battle of Gods, and it’s nothing short of EPIC. Chris Hemsworth returns once again as the God of Thunder, and this time, it looks like he’s facing a threat unlike any we’ve seen before — the ancient gods of the multiverse.
The trailer opens with sweeping shots of Asgard rebuilt, now a blend of classic Norse myth and futuristic design. Then comes the voiceover — deep, ominous, and unmistakably powerful. It belongs to Chronos, the rumored villain of the film, said to be the god of time itself, played by an unrecognizable but menacing Ralph Fiennes.
We get quick flashes of Thor in a new, battle-worn armor, possibly enchanted with cosmic energy. There’s also a surprising glimpse of Beta Ray Bill, finally making his live-action debut, and what looks like a younger version of Odin in a flashback.
Visually, this might be the most stunning Thor film yet. The cosmic landscapes, godly battles, and fast-paced editing give off Infinity War vibes, but with the mythological weight of God of War. One of the biggest crowd reactions came from a brief shot of Loki (Tom Hiddleston), suggesting we may see a reunion between the brothers — or a twist in the timeline.
If this trailer is anything to go by, Thor 5: Battle of Gods could be Marvel’s most ambitious chapter yet, blending cosmic action, Norse mythology, and multiversal stakes. We can’t wait to see how Thor’s journey evolves — and who survives the battle of gods.
Rating for the trailer: 9/10
