Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002)

A decade after the battle at Naboo, the Galactic Republic faces a threat from a Separatist movement led by ex-Jedi Master Count Dooku. Former Queen, now Senator, Padmé Amidala, travels to Coruscant to vote against the creation of an army to support the Jedi in combating the rising menace. After narrowly escaping an assassination attempt upon her arrival, she is put under the protection of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and his Padawan, Anakin Skywalker.

“Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones” (2002) delves into the escalating conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Separatists. Directed by George Lucas, this episode explores the burgeoning romance between Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) and Padmé Amidala (Natalie Portman), while also revealing the sinister machinations of Senator Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid).

The film is visually stunning, with impressive CGI and epic battle scenes. However, it has been critiqued for its dialogue and pacing. Despite these flaws, “Attack of the Clones” remains a crucial chapter in the Star Wars saga, setting the stage for Anakin’s transformation into Darth Vader.
