MADEA ON THE RUN 2 (2025)

Title: Madea’s Still Got It – Madea on the Run 2 (2025) Review
Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
She’s back—and she’s running faster than ever (well, as fast as those house slippers will let her). Tyler Perry returns in Madea on the Run 2, and if you thought the first one was wild, buckle up, because this sequel doesn’t just go off the rails—it jumps tracks and steals a police car.
The film kicks off with Madea accidentally getting caught up in a multi-state manhunt after attending a family reunion that turns into a full-on crime scene. Yes, there’s drama. Yes, there’s chaos. And yes, she somehow still finds time to cook a full Southern meal in the middle of it all.
Tyler Perry delivers the same classic Madea energy—equal parts sass, wisdom, and “I wish you would.” The jokes are fast and furious, and while not all of them land, Madea’s one-liners still hit hard enough to make the whole theater laugh out loud.
The supporting cast adds some fresh faces, including a surprise cameo from [insert trending celebrity here] that had the audience hollering. There’s also an unexpected emotional arc that sneaks in between the slapstick, reminding us that Perry knows how to mix heart with hilarity.
Is it a cinematic masterpiece? No. Is it a good time with a big bowl of popcorn and your loudest auntie laughing next to you? Absolutely.
Madea on the Run 2 proves once again that Madea may be older, but she’s nowhere near done running—or roasting.
