Legacies (2018–2022) is an American supernatural teen drama television series created by Julie Plec. It is a spin-off of the successful series The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. Set in the fictional town of Mystic Falls, the show follows the lives of supernatural beings, mainly focusing on Hope Mikaelson, the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson (a hybrid of vampire and werewolf) and Hayley Marshall (a werewolf), making her a unique and powerful character known as a “Tribrid” (human, vampire, and werewolf).Hope is a student at the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted, a school for supernatural beings who need guidance to learn how to control their powers and integrate into the world. Alongside Hope, the show also follows other students, including Landon Kirby, a human-turned-vampire; Rafael Waithe, a werewolf; and other supernatural creatures like witches and vampires.
