WRATH OF MAN 2 (2024)
“Wrath of Man” is a 2021 action thriller heist film directed by Guy Ritchie, co-written with Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies, loosely based on Nicolas Boukhrief’s 2004 French film “Cash Truck.” This marks Ritchie’s fourth collaboration as director with Jason Statham, their first since “Revolver” (2005).
Statham portrays H, a newly hired cash truck driver in Los Angeles whose thwarting of a robbery raises questions about his gun skills and enigmatic past. The film also features Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Chris Reilly, Josh Hartnett, Laz Alonso, RaΓΊl Castillo, DeObia Oparei, Eddie Marsan, and Scott Eastwood in supporting roles.
Released in various countries on April 22, 2021, and in the United States on May 7, the film has amassed $104 million globally. Critical reception has been mixed.
