Directed by Janeen Damian, the film tells the story of Sierra Belmont (Lohan), a spoiled, self-absorbed heiress who, after a skiing accident, loses her memory and is taken in by a kind-hearted widower, Jake (Chord Overstreet), at his humble family-run lodge during Christmas.

The plot kicks off with Sierra, the privileged daughter of a wealthy businessman, who leads a life filled with luxury and excess. However, after a skiing accident, Sierra is left with amnesia and unable to remember her life as an heiress. 
With no memory of her identity or her lavish lifestyle, she ends up at a small, cozy lodge run by Jake, a widowed single father who has put his dreams on hold to care for his young daughter, Avy (Olivia Perez). Jake and Sierra’s worlds collide when he takes her in, and she begins to slowly recover her memory, while also experiencing a new life that is far simpler and far more genuine than the one she left behind.
