THE CONJURO 4: LAST RITES
With more than a decade in the books, The Conjuring 4 will end the major horror franchise, and now the release date for the fourth sequel has been revealed. While plot details are still unknown, the latest installment of the franchise will see the return of Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson and Lorraine and Ed Warren, the iconic paranormal investigators who have served as a guiding thread for much of the interconnected universe. The Conjuring 4 will also see Michael Chaves, who directed the previous film and The Nun II, return to the director’s chair with a screenplay by franchise veteran David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick. Variety has reported that Warner Bros. The Conjuring 4 is scheduled to hit theaters on September 5, 2025. The news also came as the studio also announced that Maggie Gyllenhaal’s Frankenstein adaptation, The Bride, will be pushed a week ahead and will now premiere in late September 2025 instead of the first week of October. At the time of writing this article, no production start date has been announced for the final film of The Conjuro.
