Wednesday: Season 2 Trailer | Netflix

Wednesday is an American supernatural comedy horror television series that centers around the character Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family.
Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, the series features Jenna Ortega in the lead role, alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmรกn, Isaac Ordonez, Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Fred Armisen, and Christina Ricci in supporting roles.

Tim Burton directed four of the eight episodes and serves as an executive producer. The show follows Wednesday as she seeks to unravel a monster mystery at her school.
Burton had previously been linked to two projects related to The Addams Family: a 1991 film he declined to direct and a canceled stop-motion animated movie.

In October 2020, reports emerged that he was set to direct a new television series, which Netflix later officially ordered. Filming occurred in Romania from September 2021 to March 2022.

Wednesday premiered on November 16, 2022, and was made available on Netflix on November 23, receiving generally positive reviews from critics who praised Ortega’s performance, although they noted some similarities to CW dramas. Within two weeks of its release, it became the third-most watched English-language series on Netflix.
